We are the Scotch Plains – Fanwood Concerned Parents Coalition. We are a group of parents and residents who are deeply concerned about what, and how, our students are being taught in our school district.
Focus
School educators should teach essential academic skills that enable our children to become cogent thinkers, non-judgmental and free from bias.
Respect
Our public school system should reflect our communities’ values; mutual respect, acceptance, empathy, inclusion and love for one another.
Compassion
School educators should place value on all perspectives. As such we believe that our curriculum should include input from all sources.
